5 Items to Prepare Your Nest For Postpartum

5 items to prepare your nest for postpartum

🍲🪴🥹🧺💓🥬🌻

🪴1) Focus on your pantry + refrigerator + freezer:

having a solid healing pantry is going to really benefit you. I see the value in showing our partner, family, friends, doula what items to replenish weekly. Making a simple meal train plan for pantry/fridge staples is amazing because it takes out the guess work of what you need.

🧺What to do: When you are 2-3 months before your due date, start prepping your kitchen. Looking for the items you will need - check out The Postpartum Course: Heal, Nourish, Cocoon for all the workshops you’ll need about how to prepare a well fortified stocked postpartum kitchen.

🪴2) Deep clean your bedroom: give that bedroom a full makeover that will encourage rest and recovery. Think less stuff on surfaces and more maternal healing items close to the bed as possible.

🧺What to do: 3 months before your due date, start a deep clean project. 1 month before your due date, give it another quick clean + prep your bedside table with healing maternal items. Need items what to include? Download The Postpartum Guide: Heal, Nourish, Cocoon

🪴3) Organize nesting baskets: look into each room and ask what items you will be close by as you heal and care for your baby.

🧺What to do: check out my full nesting basket guide + YouTube video for more inspiration

🪴4) Ask friends and family for support for the first 6 weeks + bonus for 3 months

🧺What to do: ask trusted friends and family members that you feel cozy with if they can provide care. What will that care look like? The Postpartum Course: Heal, Nourish, Cocoon shares the perfect course workbook to guide you with these conversations + my nesting party planner has printouts for organizing meal trains

🪴5) Have a nesting party: ask family and friends to visit to prepare your nest + share their words of wisdom

🧺What to do: Purchase my nesting party planner and start planning the best party ever!

HAPPY HEALING!
