Small Things That Make a Difference After Birth POSTPARTUM EDITION

Hello friends,

There are some beautiful small things that make such a big difference during postpartum. I love sharing simple but impactful ways to help bring healing and comfort after birth.

These are a few of my favorite tips ⬇️

🤱🏼meal prepping baked one-handed snacks not just meals

🍂Simply prepping a few snack options for postpartum is key. I love making one-handed easy recipes to make it even more easier to hold while snuggling your baby.

🤱🏼start the morning with a hot shower before everything else

🍂Time is so unique during postpartum - the newborn bubble is real! Putting a simple reminder on your phone to shower every morning will make such a difference. Plan before postpartum to have a family member or doula present every morning for you to shower. Or simply create a safe space for your baby to rest as you shower. Taking a few minutes to refresh and care for your body will make such an impactful difference on your days ahead.

🤱🏽capturing a memory of your best friend meeting your baby for the first time

🍂This special memory is one of my favorites and can pass by so quickly if you don’t capture it. Take a moment to plan a visit of your best friend and make sure to pull out a camera for the cutest way to remember this moment.

🤱🏽a supportive partner that is equally involved and invested in your healing

🍂Educating and empowering your partner will be the biggest power move of your life. Having a partner that feels confident and equipt will take time and investment. But there is nothing better and more important for your healing than having the support by the one you love.

Feel free to reach out to me if you need additional support - postpartum doulas are trained and passionate about supporting mothers through their journey of healing no matter the season they are in.

Happy healing!
