Cozy Winter Post Birth Recovery Inspiration POSTPARTUM EDITION

Hello friends,

As we flow into a new season that surrounds with cooler temperatures and shorter days, I find it to be the coziest for postpartum. If you are preparing for postpartum during these winter months, this post is for you!

These are a few of my favorite tips ⬇️

❄️craving creamy soups and chunky stews

🕯️Preparing for soothing, easy digestible and simple meals is so important during postpartum. I love encouraging mommas to prep warming meals like soups and stews.

❄️Never taking off your patterned pjs

🕯️Giving yourself lots of grace during postpartum is essential. If you can prep now for giving yourself space to be newborn too, you will find so much peace. I love encouraging mommas to purchase the coziest lounge clothing that feels equally comfy as restful.

❄️Warming herbs for a healing sitz bath

🕯️Nothing is as soothing as a warm sitz bath made with the warmest herbs. I love plantain leaf and shepherd’s purse for simple but impactful herbs.

❄️Cuddling up with your favorite oversized mug

🕯️Apart of your nesting prep for postpartum can be creating a space for your favorite kitchen items like mugs and bowls. I love making a basket on the counter with simple mugs, thermoses, bowls and spoons for quick grab. For fun, grab a few new colorful and cute mugs.

❄️Candle light snuggles with your baby

🕯️The coziest thing in the world is snuggling with your baby as the days become darker earlier. I love using candles and fairy lights to make the nights feel special and enjoyed.

❄️Home is the coziest place on earth

🕯️Making your home a cozy warm space for postpartum can look like prenatal prep. I love to encourage taking time to deep clean the house, purchasing a few meaningful needed items and using lights to make things feel even more special.
