My Wild Pansy Postpartum Perineal spray Recipe

🌼🌸🌷🌾🧺👩🏻‍🍼🌼

I am never one to encourage store bought perineal spray. Often times I find these sprays filled with witch hazel, which can very acidic in excess, or worse - additions that are not proper for the tender postpartum healing body. My simple peri spray is equally easy to make as it is healing.

🪴 Why I love my my wild pansy postpartum perineal spray recipe⬇️

🌱 Wild Pansy (Heartsease): Calming + Regulates skin pH

🌱 Aloe Vera: Soothes + Refreshes

🌱 Plantain Leaf (Plantago Major): Restorative + Eases Cuts

🌱 Shepherd’s Purse (Capsella Bursa-pastoris) Stops bleeding + Hemmorrhoid support

🌱 Spring Water: Minerals

🌸 Why I love Wild Pansy for Postpartum:

“Wild Pansy, also known as Tricolour Pansy (Viola tricolor), is a herbaceous plant common in Europe, belonging to the Violaceae family. Native to Europe, it is the ancestor of the cultivated pansy, a term that predates the cultivation of pansies and is linked to the symbolic meaning of the violet in the language of flowers.” Source
