Limon Verde Chicken Soup

This soup always makes me feel at home. I love to pair it with a quesadilla made with sprouted corn and raw cheese. An extra gooey quesadilla dipped into this tangy savory soup and it’s over. Absolutely a comfort food. We make it at least once a week. Try!

PREP TIME: 10 minutes
COOK TIME: 20 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 30 minutes


  • 1 organic whole cooked chicken shredded  
  • 1 jar salsa verde
  • 4 cups bone broth 
  • 2 potatoes, cubbed
  • 3 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • sea salt + pepper


Boil 1 whole chicken with apple cider vinegar and sea salt before making this soup. You get bone broth + meat for this soup. Shred chicken once it’s cooked.

In a large pot, throw in all the chicken, potatoes, lime, cilantro and salsa with bone broth.

Simmer for 20 minutes. 

Tasty Tip: Pair soup with a gooey cheesy quesadilla!
